“Good: clean room and bathroom, newer more modern feel, free breakfast with many options, great location - Not so good: very low water pressure in shower, slow sink drain, pillows were flat, not very supportive”

“This IS the place to stay on St Thomas. We love it and make sure to book this property for every visit. The property is breathtaking and the staff is like family. We highly recommend Blubeards to anyone!”

“As long as you know that this is an older hotel so you will see the wear everywhere then you'll enjoy your stay. There is no food option at the hotel so you'll definitely have to travel into town for that. The pool was fine. The room was clean. If you want an inexpensive stay for a few days then you'll be just fine here. Also, it's within walking distance to the airport so unless you have alot of bags DON'T waste money on a taxi. As soon as you walk down the entry to the hotel you're basically……

“Room condition and cleanliness was perfect. Site has wonderful views to the Charlotte Amalie area. Great for BB and overnight stays. Breakfast at property restaurant was fine.”

“I liked the location being close to the airport and it was a nice and comfortable place to stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. They should put a microwave in the room and have entertainment on the beach at night sometimes, like a live band or DJ. Spice it up a little for the guests. People like to have fun on vacation.”

“The rooms were clean and the staff wonderful. Only thing was the smell in the room a little musty and i am sure it was due to the moist atmosphere but luckly I had Lysol. Bar and food was terrific if you stayed in the Club. The food was amazing whether breakfast, lunchtime/snacks and late afternoon snacks or desserts.”

“Be sure to have breakfast; it is delicious, nutritious, and the view is awe-inspiring. I had several cups of the ginger, mint lemonade- wow! I didn’t spend much time in my room. But it was nice to come back to a clean one. Staff are very friendly! One could not ask for more and get it.”

“I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. There was no cleaning done to Room #301. I had to ask for towels and bath mats daily. One of the electric outlets had black burn marks on it. We didn't touch it. We had to empty our bedroom/bathroom trash daily. No one came to the room at all. There was no bed linen change either. The room was clean when we got there. Someone at the hotel gave us the phone number of a local taxi driver. We are truly appreciative of this gesture. The location was……

“The St John Inn is a hidden gem. We were so lucky to have come across it. The reviews were spot on and everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable and enjoy our time in St John. I can’t say enough about how special and quaint the Inn was. 5 stars for us!”

“We spent 7 days at the Saint. It was so relaxing. There are several small pools to hang out in. The main pool has a bar and a great view. We had Sunday brunch there and it was yummy, especially the mimosa with fresh squeezed juice. The staff was great too. Very helpful and informative.”

“We enjoyed our recent stay at Sapphire Beach Resort. The facilities were clean and well kept, the resort staff were very helpful in giving us tips of how to navigate the island, and our host was very responsive when we had an issue with the a/c not cooling properly. This location is a close ride to the Red Hook ferry, and the snorkeling on the little reef was great!”
