And the washer & dryer were a nice feature as this was the second half of our trip after a week on a cruise ship. Liz was a fabulous host. She even left us a welcome bottle of bubbly to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday! Her recommendations for restaurants and a local art gallery were spot on and……

“This was one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in The hosts Liz and Billy were very personable. I can't think of anything we wanted that the place did not have! We hope to be back!! Took spectacular pictures of Bald Eagles (perched and in-flight!) and Sea Otters on our hike on Diamond Creek trail.. very close to Liz and Billy's. I also recommend the boat to..fly back excursion to Seldovia with Mako Water Taxi!!”

“My mom and I are grown and raised Alaskans that now reside in the lower 48. We came back to visit Homer for her 40th High School Reunions and stayed at the Pioneer Inn, along with my husband. It was just like staying at grandmas place, which coincidently was just up the street ;-) It was perfect for our needs. Conveniently located to shops, the spit, and restaurants (Twisted Goat right next door has great pizza!). We like sitting sipping our morning coffee enjoying the mountain views outside our……
