Welcome to Papaya Villa, by Feels Like Home, a traditional Madeiran home, that is over 100 years old. It has been remodeled to a lovely modern home but yet has kept certain elements from its history. Guests will enjoy the open concept design, high ceilings and all the modern amenities and luxuries, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen) for your utmost comfort. It truly is your home away from home.



Located in Funchal, Papaya Villa offers a 360 degree view! Enjoy a clear view of Funchal, the mountainscapes, the ocean, the marina, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day. All of which can be enjoyed while relaxing by the pool, dining on the open outdoor patio or walking the landscaped property. Papaya Villa also offers a stunning experience during Madeira’s famous New Year’s fireworks celebration, as you sit front and center. The Villa provides total privacy, with coverings around the property. The entire villa is furnished with all the modern-day comforts so you can enjoy your vacation in luxury.



Papaya Villa has 3 bedrooms, all with closets. One master bedroom with ensuite, and 2 other bedrooms sharing a one full 5-piece adjoining bathroom.



Additionally, there is a full living area, dining room, kitchen, laundry and guest 2 piece bathroom. There is heating and air conditioning throughout the home with independent temperature control.

· Welcome binder, located in the home, will provide guests with an app for restaurant recommendations and some helpful tips.



· Papaya Villa also has a taxi service exclusive to the Villa. Details will be provided in the binder, but if you need a ride from the airport contact details are, Danila Costa, Taxi Service, 351-933-316-984, as for the cost and payment you will deal directly with Danila. To reach Danila its best by WhatsApp. She speaks Portuguese only, but can translate any language with her app.



NOTE: there is a video surveillance system that guarantees security in the area outside the house (swimming pool, car park, barbecue area).



A confirmation voucher will be sent to your e-mail with all the important details about your reservation and Feels Like Home additional services.

Guests should contact our team 45min before arrival and go directly to the villa. Arrivals from 23:00 (11pm) to 06:00 (06am), a late check-in fee of EUR 30 shall be applied (paid in cash at check-in).

All guests must provide their ID or Passport Information at the time of check-in.

All the remaining payments must be made in cash.

Transfer Service - We can provide a transfer service for an additional cost.

Amenities - We provide toilet paper and shampoo only for the first day.

Baby Friendly - We can provide a baby travel bed upon request.
