Family Vacation Beach Getaway

Large spacious accommodations that was enough for kids and grandparents. Centrally located to all things Galveston. Enjoyed all amenities associated with San Luis Hotel.

Great location, great view of the Gulf

Great location convenient for all Seawall activities and a short drive to the Strand. Clean, comfortable rooms that are visually appealing and well maintained. We highly recommend!

Was not totally happy with the place.

The view was excellent. The check-in was fine, and the stay was OK. However, there were some things that did not go as planned. The first being the fact that the listing had said, it would be Two covered parking places, and in fact, it was no parking places covered or not. The unit also needed so repairs there was problems in the bathrooms with mold and rust and soap scum on the wall. We had paid quite a bit extra because it was over the Christmas holiday, and I just expect a little more upscale care and repair and accurate listing than what I found that we had.

San Luis Condominiums

We were there for three days beginning New Year’s Eve day. The view from the 15th floor was marvelous on a clear first day. The next two days were foggy and you could barely see the ground, which I understand is common weather in the winter. The condominium is across Seawall Boulevard from the beach, so, although it is the beaches nearby I expect it would not be easy to cross Seawall Boulevard in the peak seasons. We never went to the beach since there was a heavy fog the last two days there. The unit had plenty of room for the two of us, though the living room was ideally sized for a maximum of four people, unless people sit on the Ottoman or barstools. The kitchen was not used by us for any meals, but had a Keurig coffee maker with 6 coffee pods, all appliances, dishes, and silverware. The unit was clean and stocked with helpful basics like extra blankets, extra pillows, shampoo and conditioner, and towels. Three hotel restaurants, spa, and other facilities were easily accessible by a five minute walk. The unit came with two reserved parking spaces in the garage that were only a few minutes from the elevator to the unit.

Second time!

This was our second time staying here and we always enjoy it. We were here a year ago and the only downfall is that there was some minor damage here and there that was not there last year and that shows that some people don’t respect the property while staying there. Other than that it’s still very nice and a great place to stay.

Amazing Condo on the Beach!

This condo was immaculately cleaned and decorated when we arrived. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, dishes, and utensils. The water pressure in the showers, sinks, and toilets was good. The beds were very comfortable. We loved having the choice of three balconies to sit on to view the ocean! The couch was comfortable and the decor of the condo was updated and modern. Instructions for obtaining the key fobs and for using the wrist bands was clear and easy. Though the parking garage was closed for maintenance during our stay, the open parking lot was nearby and easy to access. There was plenty of resort staff available most of the time to help with luggage, directions, and even security staff watching over the place. Most of the time I like to choose a different place to stay and experience if/when we return, but I would LOVE to book San Luis Ocean Oasis again!

San Luis Resort Condo

Beautiful views! Great amenities. Would have liked towels for two days/ two people in each bathroom and two key fobs for our party of two families. There were a few other minor inconsistencies, but overall a lovely stay.

Cute Condo and fabulous view! Clean and well maintained. Dishes, however were put in the cabinet dirty. Glasses had lipstick and marks on the rims.

Cheer Competition Weekend Getaway!

We travel to Galveston frequently for our daughter's cheer competitions. The San Luis Condos have become our home away from home. We've stayed in multiple units over the years, but this one is one of our favs! In fact, we have this same property booked for another competition later this spring. I love the two room set up so the adults have their privacy and the kids have their own space. This property is beautifully decorated and clean. The property management company was easy to work with and accommodating!

Christmas in Galveston

All units in the San Luis look out over the Gulf. A full complement of restaurants are included and there's no need to leave. Especially, the Steakhouse is as good as anywhere in the country. Other Galveston options are close, so let the weather guide your decisions. Had some issues getting in as the instructions were a bit vague and the permanent staff chooses Not to assist guests registered through VRBO, etc., Problems got solved, We'll be back.

The BEST Property Manager EVER. Jake was responsive, polite and friendly. We LOVED him.
