“We had a lovely stay at this property! It was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Everything we required for our stay was provided, along with many extras. We would definitely book this space again if we are back in the area. ”

“Great place to stay for one night! Property is behind host’s home (as is the street parking) and is like a large studio apartment but without a kitchen. Bathroom is large and has a composting toilet. Communication was excellent and check in process was super easy.”

“This is a very old Victorian style house. It has noisy steam heat; barely working locks (some don't work at all), and sketchy electrical. We booked 2br/2ba, which got us the 2nd and 3rd floors (host lives on the 1st floor). Furnishings are old; kitchens are functional, but that's it. Water pressure was VERY low. The host is an extremely nice guy. He owns a small restaurant nearby that serves really delicious food and AWESOME shakes. The ad says that "off street parking is available". That's……

“The kitchen is well-provisioned, with a drip coffee maker and a pod system. The host even supplied multiple coffee pods. The living/dining area has plenty of comfortable seating, and the large-screen TV and internet work just fine. There is a welcome binder that explains how to get to the clothes washer and dryer in the basement. Plenty of restaurant choices within 1 and 2 miles. I look forward to return!”

“Loved the welcome goodies. Extremely clean. Very quiet neighborhood. Owners were absolutely fantastic, desiring to help make our stay perfectly comfortable, including with their friendliness. Julie even same day shipped us an iron and ironing mat! I enjoyed playing Jim Croche's records in the living room while visiting with family. We used all appliances in the kitchen without a problem. The ONLY downside was how firm the mattress was. Regardless, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Highly……

“We have never stayed anywhere but a hotel, but on this trip we wanted a better space for our family to relax in. We will never go to a hotel again. The owner has put a lot of thought into this rental- from snacks and pantry items, and board games and books, to decorative charm, and functional spaces. WiFi, tv, a porch to enjoy the outside, friendly communication before and during the stay- we felt like old friends. I really loved the peace of mind of having one less thing to worry about on……

If you’re staying in Reading, this is the place to stay.”

“This place is a wonderfully charming old colonial spot near Philadelphia. It’s a lovely tribute to a musician we all know well, Jim Croce. The place is filled with tender memories of his all too short life, but without the slightest sadness. It’s a great spot for a couple to reconnect and reflect. We were absolutely charmed. “Franklin the owner was very kind and understanding. Unfortunately, the building is in a state of disrepair, there appeared to be an active leak in the ceiling and I could only bring myself to stay one night, despite having booked a week-long stay. I had to scramble for another place. (very stressful with kids) because I woke up after the first night with bits of the ceiling material stuck to my forearm. The building is VERY old so I was concerned given the age of the building that the materials……
