"Excellent location within walking distance of all the delights Paducah has to offer. The staff are absolutely wonderful, as we're the townspeople! Our room was clean very nicely appointed, and comfortable. Our only room complaint was that it took maybe 5 minutes in the evening for running hot water to reach the shower. It's a great hotel in an old building, so this is a problem that can be forgiven. The room had a Keurig coffee maker, and in the morning there is sub-par drip coffee that is available from about 6:30 am. We definitely want to come back to Paducah and look forward to staying in The 1857 Hotel again!"

"Wonderful from check in to check out. Staff went above and beyond from the gentleman at check in (can't remember his name) to Candi at check out. Dakota and maintenance team were great with a problem I had--storms kept knocking tv/wi-fi out. Restaurant staff was friendly and fast, complimentary breakfast was excellent. I can't say enough great things about the weekend. I would definitely recommend Kenlake Resort and the cabins. Well worth the money, and much better value than a traditional motel/hotel stay. Thank you all Kenlake staff!!"

"This property has been updated, and they have done a wonderful job. Having traveled across the United States several times staying at Super 8 off and on--this is the number one for me with the super 8's. The unit is well detailed with up-to-date Hardware, Plumbing, doors, and locks. The shower was excellent with the shower head being well above my head, I'm 6'2. There is a grab bar in the shower area, and a very nice tub, no mildew spotted anywhere."

"Great Weekend Getaway!This place checked every box when we decided to book a last-minute trip. The direct lake access was exactly what we were looking for, and being able to bring our furry family member along was huge! Ed’s place is thoughtfully decorated—we truly appreciated the charm, details, and character of the house. The comfortable beds were also plus!The hosts were very attentive and responsive!We can't wait to come back!"

"My husband and our two dogs enjoyed our peaceful stay at The Fisherman’s Wharf. You can easily access the lake by walking into it from the shore, or from the dock. 10/10 for beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and all-day views of sparkling water. This cabin is not advertised as a luxury lakehouse. I’m not sure why people are confused about that. If you want charming and rustic with amenities like a fully-stocked kitchen (utensils, serving ware, plates, pots, pans, etc.), beautiful lake views, and privacy and quiet…look no further!"
