“Stayed with family (adults + babies + dog) for 4 nights and had a great time. The house is very large with lots of room to spread out. The living room area is super comfortable. Location is quiet and a 30 min drive from some bigger/busier towns like Woodstock. There are endless books!! Hosts are responsive and accommodating. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back for future getaways.”

“We had an amazing weekend at this cute modern farmhouse! Beautiful open feel with lots of natural light and it came fully stocked with the essentials. We went in the winter and the hot tub was a game changer! Very happy with our stay and would love to come back in the future!!”

“We are regulars at this beautiful rural rental, which has become our monthly reset button. But we had no idea these sweet owners just installed an infrared sauna. What? We loved trying out this new wellness option on Valentine's Day. I may even prefer it to the steam sauna at the gym. We didn't need a reason to return but now we have one! 10/10 we'll be back.”

“The house is beautifully decorated and has so much charm. Love the artist themed bedrooms. The kitchen is huge and we had lots of room to cook Thanksgiving dinner. The Alexa was a great touch for music! The property is very large and the area very quite. Matt was quick to respond to all questions and requests. We had a great time!!”

We had a chance to check out the historic John Burroughs site (what a view!) and bought fresh farm produce and meats at a nearby D & D Farm. Geoffrey and Powell has everything you would need during the stay in a top notch shape.”

“Had an amazing stay here with my partner and our dog. The place is actually pretty huge and would be great for a large group. The location is perfect - close to many area attractions but also secluded and quiet for a nice getaway. Brian was super communicative the whole time too. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get away for a peaceful retreat!”

“I'm 78 traveling with my smooth fox terrier. His first to a farm. When I spotted a peacock near the suite I knew we made the best choice. Slade was very interested in everything. Watched the animals feeding, tried to enter under the pasture fence to join donkey and horse and chased chickens! Trails were great. Near encounter with a porcupine. Stopped for a rest at the stage enjoying a distant view on a summer like day.Window open with the sound ofwater tumbling over rocks....ZZZ. We really……

“Lovely house with beautiful decor. Stayed here for a wedding weekend with several friends and we had the best time catching up at the kitchen table, listening to records, and enjoying the comfy living room. Would definitely recommend to other and would love to return!”

“We spent an enjoyable week at this rustic chalet. It has a nice mountain view and is down a quiet road with just a couple of other houses. The house had mostly everything we needed. The waffle maker was a big hit.The fridge had plenty of space and there was coffee, tea, sugar and misc spices available. (Note there is not a dishwasher or washing machine at the property, and the well water does have a sulfur odor - in case you aren't used to rural water quirks). The hot tub was nice to have,……

“We had a great time at Greg’s property. The house is huge and easily accommodated the 25 guests we had. It is very conveniently located for those that like to take advantage of skiing between Hunter and Windham mountains. Greg was extremely responsive and very easy to work with anytime we had questions arise. I would definitely recommend to others and will most certainly keep this place in mind for future trips!
