“Quiet room, comfortable bed, great view. Clean room. Older property with limited in room amenities ie no microwave.. No breakfast due to staffing issues- maybe because early in season and seasonal workers still in school”

“Nice place to stay in the area. Only negative was the wall mounted soap and shampoo dispensers. They required multiple pumps to get a useable amount of soap. Ended up using a bar of soap I had packed to shower.”

“I’ve been patiently waiting for the Holiday Inn in Oscoda to open. The room, pool, and breakfast couldn’t have been any nicer. The employees was very helpfully and willing to make the stay worth the trip. The scenery of Lake Huron in the morning was gorgeous. I wasn’t a bit disappointed. Thank You for such great hospitality. ”

“The beach was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. The breakfast was ok. Nothing special, but adequate. The area was quiet and peaceful. I guess they are renovating, because all the old furniture was in the hallways everywhere. The property needs some renovation and cleaning. Overall i would rate it 6 out of 10. For what we were given I would have expected a lower price. ”

“This is a adorable little beach resort on Lake Huron. You rent individual cottages, which are comfortable, cute and perfect for some chill time. My cottage had a small deck, kitchen, comfy couch, king bed, clean shower and fireplace. Lou, the employee who greeted me was exceptional. So nice, friendly and accommodating. Really really great. I will definitely be coming back. ”

“We very much enjoyed the home like feel of the property. It was more enjoyable than a motel room. Way more relaxing than a motel/hotel. Hot water tank is a little small for 4 people, but easily fixed with some thought on how to share the shower time. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mio while staying at this Cozy Cabin! It is cozy indeed and quite comfortable. The hosts have been thoughtful in providing equipment and amenities that can be used as the weather allows. We stayed during a beautiful snowy time. I look forward to coming back in warm weather to enjoy what the Ausable River has to offer.”
