“We had a really enjoyable stay at Base Camp Nevis and would definitely recommend it.
The location is fantastic, especially if you’re exploring Fort William and the surrounding Highlands. It’s perfectly placed for visiting Ben Nevis and nearby attractions, while still feeling peaceful and relaxed.

“When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW! “In general, it is good enough for travellers. City view with nearby restaurants. Saw a few young staff while checking in. Look like a family-run business. The room is large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a set rather than a buffet. ”

“We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant attached. Dinner was delicious and catered well to our vegetarian diet. Breakfast was adequate too. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Parking was convenient. Stayed with my husband and 2 kids, would stay again!”

“Very very bad experience with high room rate. First day check in the radiator was malfunction, then the manager offered a dusty and dirty portable heater. The hair dryer also occasionally out of order. The second day the room was cleaned with used towels left and room and floor was not cleaned. The third day no cleansing and also NO hot water supply. Though staff were tried to help and offered bottle of wine, but you can imagine how bad the experience during the stay. Will tell my friends not to……
