Buxton

「I enjoyed my stay here. The motel is old, but well cared for. It reminded me of an old motor court, as the rooms were all on the same row, one story, where you could park right in front of your room. The rooms still use a key, but they were spacious, quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and I really like the pool. There were lots of places within walking distance. I was disappointed with the bikes that were available, as they were all rusted and hard to ride. The beach was a 5 minute...

「I am still waiting for refund for my booking. I have contacted property as well as Expedia many times via messages, email, and phone. Cape Hatteras is under a State of Emergency and no one will process my refund which is against the law. The roads are not accessible, and this has been declared a natural disaster by the state of North Carolina. Still waiting for replies back from all parties.」

「Sliding glass door would not lock, so not secure. Reported and did fix. AC did not cool in front of villa. Humidifier in use. Strong old, musty smell. AC in bedroom did cool. Down blanket too warm for September and no other blanket available. Kitchen with one spoon and one table knife. Pots pans limited and some in poor condition. Would not recommend!」
