「great place to stay, very friendly. No dinner option when I stayed due to maintenance but chippy over the road was great. Breakfast was very good.」

「A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. 」

「Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities provided. The bar was well stocked and the food lovely, although a little pricey, especially the children’s meal! Breakfast was fab with a great choice and cooked to order so was piping hot on arrival. Went to Kielder winter wonderland so this was an ideal stay as only 10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend.」

We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. 「very nice room, recently rtenovated and you could tell. restaurant had a good mix of food on and bar staff very welcoming. had a dog with us and no issues. he was well looked after. its on a tourist route but actually the staff looked like they really enjoyed their jobs. warm fire in the evenning and the brewery was nice too. 」
