The Westin is located the same building as Hamburg’s amazing Elbephilharmonie concert hall. A recommendation for guests: make a reservation in the bar on concert nights. "Arrived in February to Hamburg via Central Station HBF. It is a 12-14 min walk to Hostel. Normally, that is nothing, however when we arrived it was a little windy and raining a bit. We mainly walk, and we had to cross a busy highway, but it was doable. Just had to keep an eye on drivers, just like any other city. When we arrived to hostel, it was a bid Hotel/Hostel and there were many floors. Check-in took a few mins, there was another person in front of us, behind us there were others checking...

First thing that I did after dropping off my bags at the room was to take a walk through the park, there is also a Planetarium located in this park that I did not get around to visiting - next time.
