"It was horrible! Don't trust the online pics or the list of amenities they supposedly have. Cabins are the worst, we rented 5 in our group for a family reunion & all were horrible. We all ended up staying at a ranch half hour away & losing our paid reservation but they really could care less!The getaway cabin which was supposed to be nice, had sewer problems & the smell was gaging! They will tell you its the well water to just run hot water & not only does this not work, you end up with cold...

"The rooms are weirdly constructed. The bathroom is in the front foyer of the bedroom. Other than that very awkward situation, it’s a nice spot."

"The room was clean and comfortable. I arrived a little early and learned that early check in has an additional fee. I checked for a public restroom at the office, I was referred to a nearby resturant. I declined the additional charges and waited in by car at a park. The internet logged on right away and then had problems and could not load even my calendar or email. I did not contact the office and just used phone hotspot. I needed to check out early and left at 6:00 a.m., dropped my room card in a lock box near the office."

"My husband and I needed up staying here 4 nights and it’s very quiet nobody bothers you. The lady in the front office is understanding and helpful. Our first night I noticed we didn’t have hot water so I went to the office and within the hour we had hot water. The ac was working perfect we slept good at night. Few things it would be nice for the room to have is a hair dryer and an iron but other than that it’s a good place to stay."

"Great place, exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and really relaxing. The views are amazing, with tons of wildlife, and the dark skies at night are a big bonus. The owner is very upfront about lake levels, which we appreciated. Even with the water a bit low, we still had a great time. Walking the exposed lakebed and spotting wildlife was actually really fun.I also worked a few days while there, and the internet was surprisingly good for such a rural spot."

"The property was clean and beautiful. Our family of 15 was very comfortable. Even though we were told the lake was low, we did expect that we would have access to fishing; but, the lake was so low we couldn’t get to it or any of the community access points. We ended up finding a public spot about 15 minutes from this property where we could fish but we paid close to 100 dollars to enter. I would say this property is worth the money but to say it’s lakefront would be a stretch."
