“The complex where this unit is located is in need of some extreme TLC. Once inside the unit, the unit is just ok. It was comfortable for sleeping and the shower had good water pressure. The kitchen pans are in really poor condition. The pictures make it look nicer than I felt it was. We knew it was a studio but the kitchen had no space whatsoever. There were no chairs at the pool and it was not an inviting space at all. The unit will be fine for some, but for me, it was not worth the cost……

“The property was in a good location relative to areas we traveled to on island, but it was initially confusing to find and overall the building was a bit run down. The interior of the rental was clean with modern fixtures and furniture. The host responded quickly to questions.”

“These were excellent hosts! They clearly cared about making our stay amazing. The best thing about this place was easily the location next to Carlsmith Beach where we swam with sea turtles!The hosts communicated every step of the way. Check in and out was a piece cake, laundry was super convenient, the unit has been recently remodeled and everything was ready for us!”

“The cottage was very clean and full of household items ready for use. It's a good thing i wake up around 5am because there's a Brahma (seemed like it) rooster next door that helps with the wake up process, hehehe. No need to set your alarm on your phone. The place was breezy once I opened all the windows. Truly a Hawaii experience. Thank you host!”

“Think of it as luxury camping and you'll be happy. If your idea of comfort is umbrella drinks by the pool, you will not. Personally, I loved it. But it's not for everyone. This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town). There are 4 walls,……

“This is an out-of-the-way gem (but easy to get to). Clean, and close to shore to hear waves crashing. Host was superb! Unit was smaller than expectation. Hard to use luggage rack and move around. Not so certainly about "see whales and dolphins" - but maybe it was wrong time of year. Checking and communication with host was great (5/5)!”

“Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. ”
