“Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Fridge/freezer was much larger than the under counter units in bigger chain hotels. There was even a washer/ dryer. Better than an Extended Stay in that regard.
Hotel manager was easily accessible by phone to answer questions and deal with a complicated booking situation. Got it resolved quickly and extremely favorably.

“I was in Hilo for a month for work and stayed at Maggie's place. It was perfect for me in all ways - fantastic location, nice complex, very clean, lovely lanai, close to a beautiful park for walks/jogs. Various places to eat or get groceries that are within a 10 min walk or a couple of mins drive. “This place has no A/C and nowhere on the description does it list this. I came to Hawai'i to be comfortable, not stiffled nightly by humidity. The owner refused a partial refund for a 2 week stay after I expressed not wanting to stay here. I didn't expect a full refund, but at least half would have been nice.
