“Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin.”

“VFI is very close to Volcano National Park and it was the main reason why we chose to stay here. The house is nestled in the rainforest with a short drive from the main road so its very quiet. Our room is spacious with many windows facing the rainforest and a big patio. Our room is comfortable and pleasant. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. The host, Jon, is also a very nice guy and approachable. Breakfast is a grab and go and has plenty of fresh fruits which is a bonus! ”

“我們此行共有5人，入住2晚，選擇房型是Pi'i Mauna House，有2間雙人房、1個沙發床、2個浴室、2個客廳、1個廚房和戶外庭院。旅館很細心，準備了很多實用的生活用品，讓我們住的很舒適。 旅館服務人員很友善，耐心的回答我們有關住宿的任何問題。由於我們第1天晚上9點到10點之間才能check-in，旅館人員擔心我們找不到有一段距離遠的獨棟別墅，但其實比想像中好找，不太容易迷路。 早餐很豐盛好吃，服務人員很熱情，讓人感受到度假的快樂氣氛。 因為第3天我們要去火山口健行，事先向旅館餐廳訂購了早餐盒，我們分別選了火雞和火腿兩種口味的三明治，早餐盒裡除了三明治，還有洋芋片、一片巧克力餅乾、一瓶水。三明治很好吃，值得訂購，相當方便～”

“Had a very pleasant stay at Jenipher and Davidʻs home. Jenipher communicated well and responded to all questions/concerns. The studio was fully stocked with amenities galore! Very clean, inviting and peaceful. I heard the coqui frogs at night but didn’t mind or lose sleep over it. Loved the interior local decor and cool relaxing colors. I was allowed to bring my cat too (I brought my own kitty’s supplies) which I appreciated very much! ”
