"The room was spotless and classy with some local chips and water in the rooms. Excellent for our small dog with amazing views and walking paths. I would also recommend a local breakfast spot Ames Street Cafe. We talked with another guest and we both enjoyed the home made local food. The rapids right next to the hotel was fantastic for wildlife and cool scenery. Short walk see the Elk River to flow into the east bay. It would be a great opportunity for a summer stay if you can get a boat slip. Great hospitality with a fresh modern look. No fears with this not being a large chain. We hope to return soon."

"Our second time here. The location is one of the main reasons we stay here. Walking distance to downtown Elk Rapids and the beach. Originally we booked this because it is pet friendly. The only thing we were disappointed in is the lawn was thick as a hay field. No big deal since we didn't have to cut it. Price and location are the main reasons we continue to come back."

"Perfect for out sister get a way"

"The view alone was absolutely breathtaking! We had five adults and seven kids (all age three and under), and everyone had plenty of space to sleep comfortably and spread out. The kids loved the outdoor play area and couldn’t get enough of the sand volleyball court. Having two kitchens was incredibly convenient, allowing each family their own space. We will definitely be back again!"

"We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. The weather wasn't great but the home is large enough to spread out and enjoy. The lakefront is beautiful. We did get to spend some time outside (rained on an off) and it was nice. A little sandy beach area for the little ones to enjoy, which they did. A much appreciated large grass area. We setup soccer nets, badminton-volleyball net, plenty of room outside to enjoy! The location is great, close to downtown Elk Rapids and restaurants. "
