The house was "fine" for an older home, but there were several things that needed attention. The AC couldnt keep up with the heat. Someone from the rental company changed the air filter and brought us box fans to make it tolerable. There were no toiletries provided. The master bathroom tub is unsafe. Its an 80s style tub with a step up and then over into the tub/shower but there is no handle for stability. The tub and step are slippery when wet. There are many places in the kitchen and bathroom where the flooring is coming apart. The towel bars and rings in the bathroom all fell off the wall at least once each. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was as expected. The landscape definitely needs attention. There is a flowering tree/bush that completely blocks one entrance onto the porch.

It was good, the inside was nice, though didn't have any wash cloths in the master bathroom or a regular coffee pot and the outside needs some work, but overall a nice place

First impression ok, good location, but that quickly changed. First, could not get in with code Ohio Shores supplied, so had to contact them, stress after 9 hours drive. Many things old, rusted, not kept well, kitchen stuff not well displayed, chipped plates, glassware not enough of some types, most seem leftovers put together and not well organized, master bathroom no tissues, bath soaps, towels under sink cabinet wet and mildew smell, outdoor backyard seats not enough and rusty, towels quality lacking, master bathroom tub difficult to get in or out for older adults, nothing to hold on for balance in or out of tub, cobwebs by entrance, bathroom flooring issues not upkept, certainly looked nicer on VRBO site. My Mrs took some pics, not sure you want them here.

Fine for just a stay

Good space and fine beds if you're just crashing. If you're trying to use the house for a stay, it's going to disappoint. The hosts don't communicate, there was no grill, no toiletries, yard was overgrown and buggy, missing shelf in oven, ants in kitchen, flooring missing in areas. Lots of little annoying things because the owners just do the bare minimum. But, like I said, if you're just looking for a place to crash, it'll be fine.

Don’t stay here.

I arrived in the evening so it was dark. There was no external lights on so it made it difficult to see the keypad to enter the code. It had been snowing and the driveway wasn't cleared so I had to shovel it to make sure we didn't track in a bunch of snow into the home. Once we entered it was warm which was a plus. While we settled in you could notice the craftsmanship of the home looked like it had been done by my 6 year old. I will spare you all the details of how bad it was. Once settled in I attempted to log into the WIFI which shouldn't have been that difficult had the correct WIFI network and password been given to me. Because it wasn't I messaged on the VRBO app to ask for the correct information. I never received a reply. After waiting 30 mins I decided to call. The man who answered the phone was really short with me and was clearly annoyed by me calling. He did eventually get me the correct info. We started to make dinner and started to notice many other things that you'd expect to be apart of your stay. There was only 1 extra roll of toilet paper in each of the bathrooms, no extra trash bags for the kitchen or the bathrooms, no cleaning supplies to be able to clean the counters or wash the dishes in the sink. I had to go to Walmart to procure these items. Once dinner was done we wanted to watch TV but wasn't able to because it wouldn't connect to the WIFI. They limit me to 1500 characters so I can't tell you much more BUT STAY AWAY!!!! TRUST ME!!!!!

Family quick getaway

My nephew was in a show at Cedar Point and 8 of us from Md drove for a quick weekend to see his performance. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Would stay again if I was in the area.

Amazing location, needs some maintenance

Great location 10 min from cedar point and kalahari, super open floor plan gave us all plenty of room. Rooms were big enough to set up pack’n’play for my 1y old niece. Washer and dryer were great and soap was provided. We cooked at the house for 2 meals a day and the kitchen space was really helpful. House was clean but needed minor maintenance- doorknob to the master bedroom was falling off, bunk beds were very wiggly. Missing some minor amenities such as oven mitts, bring your own toiletries. overall a really lovely location, host was quick to respond via text. Perfect for large families and groups wanting to be close to everything at a great price! Neighborhood was very quiet.
