“This property was the most tranquil stay I have ever had. I felt safe the entire time and the owner was lovely to deal with. I would like to return for a longer stay. They have everything you need too, including a hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. We cooked our Christmas dinner in the over which was fine for two people. The property was also lovely and cosy. Not cold at all.”

“Glamping experience with nice amenities all around and a really unique lounge area in the barn. The main area is a large building and has multiple bathrooms and showers. The facilities and kitchen were a little tight for the amount of people when full, but ultimately worked out fine. The big surprise was the barn lounge area. I definitely recommend spending some time in what is a really cool and unique underground area. Overall, was a comfortable and fun stay.”

“Perfect stay, beautiful environment, washroom and common area very clean and efficient. Only thing I messaged them the day before the stay because they didn’t send the code for my pod I booked, but they did respond the day off the stay which was a little nerve racking seeing all the reviews about this. But over ball it was beautiful, good location near the main waterfall; skogafoss ”

“Askot Cottage was amazing! We definitely wished we had stayed more than one night. Directions were clear, property was well illuminated, and entry was easy. I appreciated the fact that each cottage has its own EV charger and washer/dryer combo. We also had a great view of the northern lights during our stay! ”

“Top tier spot. Clean, warm in the winter, very responsive owners. Plenty of local stuff to do nearby like waterfall walks, Caves of Hella, wool market, and a cute cafe. A great middle point for exploring golden circle and south coast. ”

“A really amazing property and possibly my favorite of our week long trip. We were only here one night, but it was perfect. The view was incredible and the space very clean. My only very small and easy to fix complaint was that all the amenities weren’t listed or were unclear. There is nowhere very close to eat or get groceries so we planned to only have a kettle. When we got we had a set up for an electric cook top, pan, and some other things. Also, it wasn’t as clearly listed that we would have……
