It is not the most cozy setup and it was cold inside due to the wind . But works fantastic for breakfast with the view. The rooms are a bit dated all over but it is CLEAN . The warmed up pool is GREAT. We will be back , "

"I have been to Ft Lauderdale may times and this stay at the Maren was the WORST I have had in Ft, Lauderdale. I paid 600 dollars a night for a room and stayed for 4 nights with my wife and daughter and it was a disaster. There was construction right next to the hotel - they are constructing a new hotel- and in front as well. We had trouble sleeping all 4 nights. The view I thought I was paying for was a beach view. The view we had was of a crane and construction and our beach access was blocked as well. Rooms are advertised as SOUNDPROOF, but from 630 am until 6 pm we heard cranes and trucks and construction. It started at 630 every morning! Even heard the room Nextdoor, their TV and people talking. The room is 0% soundproof- completely false advertising. I paid $600 a night and our view and beach access was 100% different from pictures on the website. I asked the front desk to change us to a different room so we could sleep, and they said the hotel was sold out and there was nothing we could do. What a miserable stay. If I had know know about the construction and our closed beach access and no soundproof rooms, I never would have taken my daughter there to celebrate her 18th birthday. So disappointing. I paid 2400 dollars for 4 nights and we barely slept. So bad. "

"Absolutely gorgeous facility. The staff was top-notch. My son really enjoyed the waterslides. We did not get an opportunity to use the kids club, but we did glance through the windows and it looked really cool. There are several food options within the resort, but they are pricey. I would definitely stay here again. We had such a perfect view to see the cruise ships coming in."

"The room was never cleaned. I had to call Hilton corporate help desk for assistance because the front desk kept promising while doing absolutely nothing. The place is poorly run and nobody cares"
