“Lovely clean, comfy room. Easy, free parking. A host who couldnt do enough for us... alliwed us to come down to a continental breakfast early to allow us to make our ferry crossing in a timely nanner. He even wrapoed up a bacon sarnie for us to take with us which was very much appreciated. I would stay here again no problem!”

It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. But the best part was its staff. Warm, genuine. I felt cared about by every staff member I interacted with. Kudos.”

“Service is good, breakfast is excellent. Wifi is slow and disconnect every 5 mins. Due the night time between 1700-2130. It is because, they share with the pub and restaurant guest wifi. When you showers the water sometimes hot and cold. The room is nice.Easy to park.”

“The Guest House was easy to find, located just over the bridge of Isle of Skye. Plenty of parking. No service staff on hand. Continental breakfast supplied in room. Overall a pleasant stay. Our room was spotlessly clean & a comfortable bed.”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
