「First off, this is a 700 year old building. I cannot even imagine having to maintain modern facilities in such an old property. That's where the deductions come off for cleanliness and maintenance. The positives: Friendly and helpful staff, absolutely prime location inside the Latin quarter. 30 seconds after leaving your room, you can be ordering a pint at the pub next door. They mention the noise in the description, but it wasn't really a big issue so long as you kept the windows...

「We were very pleased with our stay starting with a comfortable bed and the quietness was great surrounded by spacious grounds and the river. The breakfast was superb with plenty of everything and the hosts were friendly and informative about nearby amnenities and attractions. 「A good basic hotel for the price paid. Staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately stayed on a very warm evening and rooms had no aircon or fans available making sleeping almost impossible. Rooms pretty basic but clean and well maintained.」

「We stayed one night here as we flew in earlier than anticipated and our hotel wasn't available for that evening. For the price we paid we were very impressed Room is very basic, no extras - but was immaculately clean and has enough space for myself and my teenager daughter. Hotel is great if you just want a place to sleep for a night or 2. If we had to stay longer I would say it would have been tight on space.
