Christiansted Isaacs Bay Beach Hotels

"My fiancé and I stayed 3 nights here in March and while I wouldn't call it a 5-star hotel, we had an excellent experience. Something to consider when staying here is that it is located about 40 minutes away from the main city area (Christiansted) and the roads leading up the hotel get narrow and the cell service gets shotty. The drive is so far out that some Uber drivers decline your ride because they do not want to drive out that far. I would def let them drive instead of renting if you are from the US. -- but with that distance comes privacy and very nice mountain/beach views! So just know what you are getting! Also, the beach access at the resort is pretty much non-existent. The waves are there, but the beach is not -- it is a shore of mostly rocks. But the food at the restaurants was really good!! And they had someone playing live music during dinner every night. The staff (Muffs, Malcom and Luis) were great. We enjoyed meeting and conversing with them at various points during the day and at the bar. I enjoyed looking off into the beach and sunset, and the privacy of this resort compared to others on the island is noteworthy. If you want to be out of the hussle and bussle and just enjoy some quiet island time -- I would recommend Grapetree. "

"Great spot if you are looking for a quiet place to just get away from it allAlthough the seabed at this spot is not clean sand, its really nice to have the whole beach for yourself…. However if you want great beaches, there are several just a shot drive away…, Cramer beach and shoy’s are great choices nearby.Sara, the property manager met us at the airport, which was a really bonus, as we arrived at night, making our first Island drive much easier We stayed for 7 weeks and had some friends and family come and go ….. Sara was great to look after anything we needed…, the communication from both Sara and Holly was easy and always timelyThe view from the veranda is absolutely stunning… to get up every morning and look at the sea and sail boats literally on your backyard is priceless The house is well equipped with plenty of seating.The kitchen has all the pots and pans you will need to cook at home if you so choose…, the bread in the island is not great, so we even baked bread several times Shopping is not far…. Seaside supermarket is only 10 minutes awayIf you’re looking to get away with your family, you will enjoy this spot….. every room has its own bathroom and all bedrooms are air conditioned, which makes sleeping very comfortable…. "Absolutely beautiful views out of every room. Great pool with shallow end for smaller kids and plenty of out door patio space. Short walk down the hill to beach, where we were the only people other than an occasional walker."
