"AC unit sounded like a jet when it was on. And Minifridge sounded like running water when you shut off the AC. I did not have high expectations staying at a Motel 6."

"The room appeared to be clean. The comforter had stains and holes. The window curtain had holes. There was a big gap under the door that allowed the light from outside to come in. The AC was very loud. And there were too many drifters outside the office. "

"We arrived late after the office had closed. When we went into the room it was disgusting. The room stunk, and it was infested with german cockroaches! The sheets all had stains on them, and the pull-out coach was never cleaned. When I removed the cushions, the crumbs of many meals and someone's underwear were on top of the pull out under the cushions. Once I pulled out the mattress, the sheets were still dirty, and had something brown spilled on them. The room looked nothing like the booking photos, and the coffee machine was missing the pot, making it unusable. Disgusting!"

"A for effort on cleanliness and little touches like blow dryer, shampoo/conditioner and body wash dispensers, coffee bar. HVAC system and WIFI works well and beds and sofa are comfy. If you have little kids, the pool is enclosed and separate from the small backyard. However, the house needs maintenance. Some windows cannot be closed completely and flys and bugs get in because there are no screens. It would have been nice to open some windows but some were inoperable and again no screens. The hall bath shower fixture was broken. There was a work-around but who wants to mess with that. This home and almost all homes on the street have the iron/mesh security screen doors. Beware, gardeners get started early in AZ because of the heat (7am). Neighbors right next door had trash so piled up that I had to remind them to pull their cans to the street for pick up. All in all, if you are on a budget and have little kids (pool safety) and you want to be close-ish to Camelback, go for it. I think the owners are very nice and responsive to suggestions. For instance, I needed more dish towels. The owner had them sent to me via Amazon the next day. "
