“We were happy to be able to walk to everything we needed in Shawano including the stubborn brothers brewery. The place was spacious and it was really nice to have two bathrooms. Host was very responsive.”

“The highlight of our stay was the pool. Two families stayed here for our spring break with 5 kids (ages 16, 14, 14, 11 and 11). Everyday the kids were enjoying the pool. We did have a snowstorm while we were there that caused the power to flicker and internet to be spotty. We had to shovel the drive/front steps ourselves. Good stay overall and we would recommend to others.”

“This riverfront cabin was just right for our family of six. Modern rustic appeal and very well-furnished kitchen. There were plenty of comfy beds for our crew. Kids had fun using the kayaks and rowboat for many hours on the river. Two outdoor grills, screened porch, and bags game, all in a private secluded spot along the river. My only suggestion is to put some steps along the steep grade down to the river. It’s a bit slippery! All-in-all a wonderful four days spent in a peaceful, comfortable……

“It was a quiet and relaxing place. Birds were migrating, the first weekend in April. It was a little muddy, so bring your mud boots, binoculars and field book is required.”
