Great Weekend Getaway near Skiing

We rented the house for a large friend trip to the mountains, and we were not disappointed! The house itself is beautiful and fit our large group comfortably. We especially loved the hot tub on the deck and the large kitchen and pantry. Our only wish is that the dining table had enough chairs and space for all 14 people the house can hold - to fit everyone for dinner, we had to use a bunch of bar stools and it was a very tight squeeze. But overall, I highly recommend the house to anyone looking for a large-group getaway!

Beautiful and strategic location, close to activities, shops and major roads. Check in was a bit of a challenge as the code was not working and it took a while for a response, however we worked it out and all was smooth after that. Clean, spacious facilities. Only complaint is the odd placement of bathrooms - all except one ( located in basement ) were inside of bedrooms so privacy was an issue. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a family, we were overwhelmed by how great this house was. It is large and provides great space to spread out, and to gather as a family. We had extended family all stay together, and it was perfect. The only concern is parking is limited. The garage does not fit all-size vehicles, so plan accordingly if you are using a truck or more than three vehicles will be visiting at a time. Property management was rude when calling to address this concern, and HOA in-person instructions were very different than guestbook instructions. With that said, it was a great stay, and we would return.

Mountain palace of the gold course

The only down side to the home itself is its got a ton of stairs. If you have someone in your party that doesn't do well with stairs you may look elsewhere. New sectional, beds are comfy.The home is a 3million dollar home with high end finishes. Unfortunately, every renter wants/needs to find out what every button does and need a training course on how to use the light switches, therefore its starting to require maintenance. The house had some issues. The guest shower didn't drain, the 2nd master shower was practically broken, the pac-man machine doesn't work, the football table is literally held together with scotch tape, the coffee pot didn't get hot, the BBQ is on its very last leg, dirty towels left on the patio, hot water runs low quickly, beer cans in the back yard and not a sharp knife to save your life. The management company can't do anything with what the owner furnishes it with, but did say they would come address some of the issues while we were there. We graciously declined as to not interrupt our family time with a handyman. Other than some unfortunate maintenance issues and a cleaning service that stays indoors the house was great. The space was perfect, the views are grandiose. Would definitely stay again, but would aquire about the above issues resolutions. Oh, and dont leave the garage open, the management company will text you if its left open for more than 30 mins.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our trip was a team retreat. Plenty of space for the 10 adults to spread out. Nice to be so close to the golf course. The back deck and hot tub were definitely a highlight. The only issue we had during our stay was the final two hours before checking out. A very loud alarm (an ear damaging decibel) started going off for no apparent reason. We think it was the security alarm but we never turned the alarm on the whole time we were there. If it was the smoke alarm, that would have been without reason as well. No one was cooking or doing anything that would have triggered the alarm. We called and texted the rental management company and did hear back from them, but they never sent anyone to turn off the alarm. The security company asked if there was any crisis and we said there was not, but the alarm was so loud we could not even be in the house without ear plugs. No one ever came to turn off the alarm so we just had to deal with it for the last hour and a half of our stay. Not a very relaxing end to our retreat. More responsiveness to the alarm would have been appreciated. It was still going off as we drove away. Otherwise this was a five star stay.
