“This was my third stay at The Principal Hotel. The history of this property is unique and the rooms are amazing - essentially in brand-new condition and very tastefully designed and decorated. I've eaten at the adjoining restaurant, the Graphite, on one occasion. Amazing food! (When the Graphite is closed on Mondays, I eat at the Thai House restaurant within blocks of the hotel. Delicious and affordable meals!) The hotel is easy to get to and Columbia seems like a nice, safe town. I plan on……

“Not a bad place to stay, but it had a few downsides . Being right by the front door means you’ll hear people coming in/out regularly. The parking garage was pretty tight quarters, so caution to those with a large vehicle. The TV was finicky, but with some patience and prayers you’ll get to watch what you want. Lastly, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows a joke. Bring your own pillow.Now for the good: it was a great location. Nice and clean. The fridge was mighty spacious in case you need……

I loved that we had full access to the location without the worry of disturbing others, or being disturbed. The property was beautiful and peaceful. Just what I needed.
