We were running late to check in, so I called the hotel. The staff didn’t understand English very well, yet he understood that we were running late and even stayed late so that we could check in. I really appreciated that.

Although is a little bit far away from the main area, the environment is wonderful and both private and public onsen are great. Really enjoy thr time of staying and must go again. Also, staff are so nice helping with calling taxi every morning so not really worry about the transportation problem.

Peaceful private onsen

We had a very pleasant stay in a Japanese-style room with a private onsen that was very enjoyable. The amenities on site were great (table tennis, breakfast included) and the property was attractive and peaceful. The onsite staff were very informative and helpful in navigating the area and making recommendations. We would definitely stay again!

Pleasant stay

Nice little place, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms where spacious and relaxing. A short walk to nice food places and an arcade. The outdoor bath was comfortable and warm. You can hear your neighbors moving around though, even on the top floor.

Lovely hotel

The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming. The down side of the hotel, is the bathroom in the room. It is very small.

We loved our stay here! The room was was large, clean, warm, (heater and AC units) - we had our family of 6. Four kids ranging in age from 7-16. Three of slept on the beds and three of us slept on pads on the ground, both were comfortable. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

This “villa” felt more like a dormitory, the photos advertised did not match the room I ended up getting. The breakfast was very basic. The location however was very convenient and the staff members were lovely.

It was a very relaxing and quiet place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When I asked about changing the room (because the one I booked looked different), they changed it immediately. They had a complimentary breakfast. The only feedback I have that the pillows were very thin and not very comfortable. Overall it was a great experience, I’d love to go back!

What a wonderful stay with loads of great amenities like the dryer to dry all my rain drenched clothes, the lovely little onsen for warming our cold bodies and the warmth of the hospitality of the staff. Fabulous. The rooms were very comfortable with lots of nice additions, like hot water machine for tea, extra toothbrushes, etc. Breakfast was very good too. A short walk to the bus station with the very clear instructions by the helpful staff during the booking process. And, the best part Fujisan is right there! Best view is from the walkway over the highway to the bus station. A lovely little oasis and so happy we stayed here.

Just ok

Upon check-in we were given a room which we did not booked. After asking they immediately moved us to the proper one. The rooms are dated . Was really looking forward to the outdoor deep bath, but it had many repairs and there was putty on the bottom. So it was like sitting in gum. I would however like to say the staff were very nice. Breakfast meh. But the coffee was good and strong. They mention being next to the conifer forest and going for a nice relaxing walk. But there was no access.

Location not very convenient so I suggest only those who had rent a car can consider this hotel. No staircase in the whole hotel and our room is located on the second floor of a villa house. Take time to get hot water from the bathroom and once the water become cold when having a shower. Although there is a kitchen in our room but only a kettle and refrigerator without any kitchen ware and utensils.

Careful when booking this property if you want to be local to shops and or dining. The only closest place is a Don Quijote which is walkable but other restaurants close early and may not be nearby. Trains are not accessible, only buses which are not walking distance. Hard to find taxi at night. Overall a great place if you want to disconnect in nature. Private onsen on own cabin was very nice.
