“We really enjoyed our stay here. This is one of the most well-equipped VRBO properties we have stayed at. There are so many nice touches - nightlights, cozy fleece blankets everywhere, recliners for relaxing, enough towels for an army, extra tooth brushes, and even a glow in the dark toilet seat. The kitchen has everything, including top notch Le Creuset cookware. We enjoyed relaxing in the zero gravity chairs on the back deck. “The property is located in a beautiful forested area. Martha, the owner, was an outstanding hostess. She was friendly and very helpful. The home cooked breakfasts were well prepared and delicious. The only issue we had was the GPS took us to the property through a back route that was longer and over gravel road. ”

“The motel looked like it had been renovated at some time or another but it didn’t look like they were keeping up with maintenance and the room could have definitely been cleaner. The electric vehicle charging stations that can be found in the motels’s parking lot had been blocked by a poorly educated inconsiderate. ”

“The cabin is very modern: kitchen, appliances, comfy beds, and wonderfully decorated. Spotless. It is incredibly close to the entrance of the park and so very convenient. Great wifi, TV and laundry too.”

“If you’re looking for a high class interior, don’t come here. It’s really all about the great outdoors. The hot tub and exterior of the house is wonderful. Very kind people here, very quiet. It’s just that the farmhouse looks better in the photos than it actually is. It’s totally functional though and was perfect for our needs.”

“The RV we had reserved did not have a functioning refrigerator so we were "upgraded" to a larger place. It did not have the same amenities as the original place. Instead of a full kitchen, there was a hot plate and tiny microwave. Instead of a dinette table, there was a postage stamp sized table that barely held 2 plates. There was no couch. . The bunk beds were wedged next to the refrigerator so every time the refrigerator kicked on, the sleeper was startled awake. The location itself was quiet……

“Well, it did not feel like a resort. It was mostly like a trailer park with tents, cabins and trailers. I think the property needs to have a landscaping consultant to evaluate and redesign it to feel more like a resort. Also hard to find entrance off Hwy44 at night as the sign is faded and without any lighting.”

“Home is in a great spot to access the southern entrance to Lassen, just make sure the Lassen highway is open when you book. We were surprised to find the highway was still about half closed in the high elevations due to remnant snow still not cleared in mid-June. This meant less access to the park, but most annoyingly a 2 hour(!) drive to get to the North Entrance of the park. This of course is not the fault of the property owners, just a heads up about the location. If the highway is open, the……

“I can’t say enough about this place. I usually always stay at high-end hotels and let me tell you something, these folks do it right!! We had an amazing meal that we cook on their barbecue grill. They were so accommodating from anything from olive oil to utensils even cutting boards and let me just tell you an amazing breakfast cook to order and again great host also impressed with their sheets, towels and bedding I did not want to leave, I even made a comment today adopt me. 😉”
