"Room 7 extractor fan not working. Both windows can’t be propped open. No mirror over desk so hairdryer cannot be plugged in near a mirror. Shower floods bathroom floor. All staff tried hard but were overstretched. At breakfast many things were only available if asked for. Evening meals not good value for money. This is not a 4 star hotel. "

"Great location less than a mile away from the M5 and off the main road. Wonderful guy on reception who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy. We decided to go into nearby Thornbury to grab something to eat. The bed was really comfy and we had our buffet breakfast in the Marco Pierre White restaurant in the hotel which kept us full for the drive home."

"On overall great property as food, staff and location were fantastic. However the accommodation offering needs to be reviewed. The room aesthetically was fine but the ability to relax and have a good nights sleep was what let the property badly down. The mattress was terrible and dipped on both sides so gave a very poor night's sleep. The allocated room "Gooseberry" whilst already carrying a warning for noise from the kitchen on the website was far worse than you could imagine. Kitchen fans...
