「It was easy to check in and the employee was very nice. The location is a little intimidating at night time but overall the hotel was very nice. The room wasn't the cleanest and it could have been updated. The bathroom door wouldn't close/lock. Overall I was satisfied with the room and staff. The breakfast was cereal, bagels and waffles. 「This is a very clean and nice hotel. It feels brand new and the staff was incredibly friendly and polite. My only complaint was the noise. It seems like when building this hotel, they really cheaped out on soundproofing. 「When we arrived, it was early and needed to wait for a room to come available. Not an issue and many others were waiting in the lobby for the same reason. The problem came when I was still waiting for a room to come available when new people were coming in and the staff was checking them into rooms. When I heard him do it 3 times in a row, I walked up to ask if I could also please have a room and he told me nothing was available? And then immediately gave someone else a room. 「I stayed here for 2 weeks and think this would be my go-to hotel anytime I come back to Chicago to see friends and family in the future. The room was clean, which is the most important thing to me. There was more lighting in the room than most of the hotels I've stayed at, which I liked. On weekdays it was so quiet and peaceful. 「I was hesitant to book here because of some of the reviews and the location and exterior look of the property. But it surpassed all expectations! Great staff, clean, and the bathroom especially was nice with a little bow they leave on the toilet paper and nice big and hot walk in shower with actual bottles of pumpable soap instead of cheap little bars. Plentiful parking too. Loved it!」
