「The Inn is going through renovations so the grounds outside were quite a mess. But the rooms are updated and very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The woman that checked us in was very friendly and gave us some good advice for places to eat and things to do. We would definitely stay again.」

We didn't need the breakfast but wanted a cup of coffee before we headed out and had some other questions and we went to the front desk multiple times, even walked into the dining room, and never saw an employee. 「We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. There were nail heads sticking up out of the floor upstairs and the floor creaked loudly every time we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom. 「Everything was clean and the staff were great. We did have an issue with the lock sticking on our door so we couldn't close the door. But otherwise everything was great. It's in a quieter location a little outside of Boone.」

「Friendly staff. We needed maintenance at 10pm for the AC and the young man who came was amazing! He even came back to make sure everything was okay. The breakfast bar closes down at 9:30 which is a little early but good selection. My only complaint was about housekeeping. The room was very clean but the shampoo bottle and hand soap were empty.
