"The hotel is over 400 years old and quite beautiful. Across the street from a park on the shore of Loch Lomond, very picturesque. Loch boat tours right there as well. The restaurant was excellent, there is a full bar, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We don’t have a dog, but it is a dog friendly place, and we enjoyed the furry friends’ presence. Very peaceful."

"We stayed in one of the apartments, rather than the hotel, and it was absolutely perfect. Very spacious, clean and so well-equipped, particularly for someone like me who enjoys cooking for a family. The view from the living room/balcony was totally stunning. The playground could do with a bit of maintenance and there was a net missing from one of the tennis courts, which was a shame, as the other court was taken when we wanted to play. The bar and bistro menu was pricey. Swimming pool and leisure facilities were awesome and we spent so much time in the pool as the weather was very disappointing but what can you expect in Scotland! If you do get some sun wet heartily recommend a day trip to Luss and kayaking on Loch Lomond."

"Enjoyed immensely! For the price, would have appreciated more courtesy toilet paper/tissues/trash bags and some single use toiletries such as soap/shampoo. Welcoming cookies, chocolates and milk/water was very nice and appreciated. Highly recommend, beautiful area, pleasant hostess. Would return."
