「Lovely place 」

「The Captain Cook is clean and in a quiet area. You escape the tourist crowds and the rates are a real bargain, too. The pub below the rooms served great food and the buses to downtown London and the tube were very convenient. Plus, the Mil Kitchen around the corner served a great breakfast. We will be going back when visiting London. Also, the staff members were super friendly. 」

「Tastefully decorated, well equiped and air conditioned rooms although the pub itself wasnt. That said the pub was open and airy with good outside space. Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner all recommended). Just a note, my elderly parents were on the top floor..no lifts. 」

「You would not believe the pub was in such a lovely area and with the high street and all its other offerings so close - so close to London , Heathrow and transport - a gem !」

「Beautiful room in a nice quiet location. The Sunday Roast was delicious and the continental breakfast was above and beyond what we expected. This place is a gem!」

「Disappointing experience, it's hard to imagine this room costs £180. The floor creaks. The air conditioner is broken, the safe has no batteries, and the air conditioner remote has no batteries. The room is small, and there is guitar playing downstairs early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep. The sound insulation is poor, and you can often hear laughter from the next room. The hallway is very narrow. It feels damp. It is also far from the city center. I would definitely not choose...
