“It was just ok ‘ the staff were nasty like they didn’t want to be there.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Buoy Haus. The property was well kept and felt upscale as we had hoped. Our room was very clean and the entire staff was always friendly, helpful and polite. We saw some staffing issues with staff not showing up and previous staff having to stay late or work a second shift etc. We definitely felt horrible for those employees since they work so hard, and hopefully they are able to work out those kinks in order to keep the great staff they have. “I love staying at the Ritz in st Thomas. More than anything we enjoy the employees. They are always helpful and make the trip worth it. I traveled there 2 years ago and I noticed several cut backs and things that they could improve on. For instance the serve the same food every single day for breakfast potatoes, bacon/sausage and eggs. They need to add pancakes and French toast because the food gets boring. The have different options for the lunch/ dinner snacks but again not very family kid……

“First off, we end up killing two flying roaches during our stay. Secondly, the phone was out the entire stay. I had to contact front desk via cell. Thirdly, we had no WIFI the first day. We finally got it the last stay. Also, no cable until the last day. View was nice from balcony. I would also point out that front desk could be more attentive and inviting. Maybe my expectations are too high being a Marriott Owner.”

“The staff were the nicest and very helpful. The ants were so bad at this hotel. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE IN THE ROOM, I even caught a couple in the bed. Very disgusting and gave me the creeps.”

“Amazing views in every direction and centrally located. The shared bathroom was clean and large. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious too. I would visit again!”

“Angie & Karen (managers) were both very helpful and had the "Pride of Ownership" attitude. The feel was welcoming and quaint. Also, the amenities were great and focused on the guests. I've stayed at many places both for work and personal travel and the staff was great. Highly recommend!!”

“So we were disappointed. It was not as expected from the pictures. Let me start by saying, it is a great location for restaurants, shopping and if you’re going to use the ferry, which is across the street. However, the hotel is very old and it’s run down. You can tell they tried to renovate some things. The pool was clean. Our room looked ok nothing fancy, but the floors were filthy! Our sink was clogged. The shower wasn’t hot hot but it was fine to shower in. The staff was friendly and check in……
