“We were there for a wedding and stayed in the villas. Would have definitely upgraded to a 2 bed villa. Location was great, we were right across from the venue. Shuttles ran regularly to take you to the main hotel for pool or beach. My only complaint and it's just a personal thing, is that they charged my daughter .77 cents for tap water at the pool. My second thing was being a coffee person, there was no kerig in this particular villa so we would go to check in. Last day they said there……

“The pool in our building was not working, construction was taking place and the appliance in our room 505 was very outdated and old. The entire room needs to be updated. I will never return nor will I refer the hotel to anyone.”

“Room was updated and spotless. New carpet, paint, bathroom vanity, and more. A fantastic value imo. We've been staying here for many years & it never disappoints. It's close to EVERYTHING in NMB & just a stone's throw away from Myrtle but without those resort prices. Pool was clean & open. Highly recommend for families or solo travellers.”

“We booked an ocean view room and it was amazing. We’ve stayed at beach cove multiple times and it’s always great. I just wish they had free breakfast lol.”

“Private beach access. One point to consider is there is no elevator, so ability to use stairways is a must. ”

“Charged me for damages that didn’t occur while vacationing there. I will never book with Hosteva again or the Ocean Pier condos. Word of advice book with someone else if you don’t want to be charged extra fees and prior damages that were there before check in.”

“This property was wonderful. The location was excellent. It felt safe. The property and rooms were extremely clean. The rooms were spacious and great for families. It had pools, a great restaurant, and beautiful scenery from your balcony. This is one of the best properties that I have ever booked. We will stay here again.”

“Dave yourself the headache. Every day it was something. Maintenance was good though. Oven not working. Batteries died in key pad for door. Deadbolt broke and we were stuck in condo for 5 hours. Advertised outdoor pool was open . It was NOT and after days of arguing with management and Hostiva, they finally acknowledge it was closed. Phoned Hostiva almost every day and they said they would phone back. They never did. The last day took the cake; cockroach crawling on the wall. That was the icing……

“Excellent property with many amenities. Room was more than adequate. Staff was very helpful although we did have to chase housekeeping for a change in towels. Very close to the beach and pools are large and uncrowded. The only downside was the door lock. Door has to be slammed to close and lock. That seemed to be the norm on all the rooms so there was considerable background noise of slamming doors. Otherwise, the resort is a very good value.”

“Great place for the price - GREAT VALUE! we had the unfortunate event of having some shoes stolen from the pool area. Otherwise all around Pleasant experience. We plan on staying there again next year.”

“I was surprised when we were given our room that is was not in the main hotel but in another building the Best Western had acquired 3 buildings down from the hotel. It was advertised as Ocean Front Room, but none in that other building we were put in had ocean front. We had to push our luggage in the cart on the side of the road and watch out for traffic on the way. Also walk back and forth daily for breakfast and for the pool access, it was definitely second rate and not like staying at a nice……

“The location was nice,because of the beach access, there was plenty of parking. The pools looked nice. There was nothing special about it. Too much furniture in the bedroom, awkward to move around. No free anything to drink or snack on. Not much available to even buy. We had an “extra fee” upon arrival even though we paid so much already.”
