“We had a fantastic stay in this lovely property which is in a great location in Whitstable. It’s cosy with great decor, and the kitchen has a good range of cookware. The garden was small but perfectly formed - great for the sunny days!”

“Ric’s cottage has been renovated to the highest standard and has all the amenities for an extremely comfortable stay in Whitstable. A bit of trouble initially finding a parking space but once we found one, we had no need to use the car again, as everything was within walkable distance. Lovely garden for sundowners! Slight issue with a toilet, which was resolved immediately. Great selection of restaurants and coffee shops plus lots of independent shops to peruse at your leisure. Thanks Ric for a……

“Beautiful home! A spacious and stunning property. My 5 children had a wonderful time with the games room and hot tub they felt like celebs. The kitchen was high spec and the bedrooms very comfortable Minutes walk to the shore, stunning views”

“This is a lovely house right in the centre of Rye, in walking distance from everywhere. Despite this it is quiet. The house is beautiful and has everything you need.”

“Es war sehr schön, wir haben es genossen! Bei Ankunft mussten wir erst bei der Reception nach einem Plan fragen, dann klappte es! Instruktion für Heizung wäre schön gewesen, es war bei Ankunft eiskalt... Leider hatte es keine Dusch-/ Abtrocknungstücher, mussten als erstes kaufen... Bett war bezogen. Innenausstattung sehr schön! Geschirr nicht ganz so sauber... Aussenbereich war sehr schön, dadurch dass es sehr regnerisch war, matschig...(man muss durch Wiese gehen, hat keine Platten oder……

“The property was very well equipped and there is even an electric car charging point. The location is excellent with Hastings (fish market, beach and the old town); Battle Abbey (excellent and enjoyed by the smaller and larger people); Rye (one of the Cinque ports, Waterworks brewery); and the Kent and East Sussex Railway (to Bodium Castle). Alan, our host, was very helpful. Highly recommended!”

“Quiet relaxing stay, great jacuzzi, PH levels were spot on, landlords were accommodating and helpful. Bedrooms were clean and towels provided. The underground heating in the kitchen and bathroom was a good touch. Local amenities were very close. Tescos express is a 2 mins drive. Overall very satisfying stay”

“House was OK with adequate facilities, except microwave. Problem was we had absolutely no instructions for the operation of any of them. The dryer had an isolation switch (un labelled) that someone turned off and it took us some time to discover the reason for it not operating. The dish washer also failed to run properly and we believe it was due to a blocked filter. We hadn't used it initially so didn't discover the problem until near the end of our stay.”

“Clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped flat in peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed our stay. The instructions for collecting the keys could have been given more prominence in the welcome email. Other than that small point this was faultless.”
