“A great one-night stay after disembarking from a cruise. The hotel and room were spotless. The room was huge! There was a full kitchen which sadly we did not have the opportunity to use. Many rooms have balconies and outdoor seating areas. The wifi was excellent, and the TV was smart with loads of viewing options. There is a nice small pool in the central court, and the beach is a 2 minute walk. There is a decent mall with a pharmacy/grocery store that sells just about everything you need. Lots……

“Rooms were nice and staff was friendly. Property was fine. They are definitely on vacation time as meals are slow (2+ hours for a meal). The restaurants leave a bit to be desired. Poesia was not great at all - probably the worst meal in our party we had in the whole island and the worst Italian. The place is new but the chef is trying to be too creative with limited access to ingredients. A few people had a shrimp dish with tomatoes and no-one had tomatoes in it. Azure is okay - mediocre. “We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us. We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made. It was comfortable, the pullout divan was stained and not comfortable, those things typically are not. The place had not been cleaned and there was no handsoap and little toilet paper. The outside area was very nice, the inside area is like a very rustic old north american cottage. Very old gas……

“My husband and I recently stayed at the Hilton Barbados Resort, and overall, the experience was average at best. The bedroom itself was nice and comfortable, but the bathroom definitely needs updating. The bathtub never appeared fully clean, which made us uncomfortable enough that we chose not to use it during our stay.
