“I was very pleased with my stay. The staff Brittany and Beth were very helpful with all my questions and making me feel welcome. My room was clean and housekeeping did not nothing me when my son was on the door. (I often find that that is ignored many places) I would definitely recommend this property.”

“Staff was great. I made a mistake in my booking and they accommodated me. This is not a fancy place, but it is clean, and rooms are cleaned every day. My room had a coffee maker, microwave and small fridge.”

“Housekeeping is terrible, I had to track down management because i did not get the full service room cleaning you are supposed to get every three days I got it once in my two week stay. The bathtub backed up a few days after I got there and got as deep as my ankles, other guests complained about their tub backing up as well. I see now why it is one of the cheapest places to stay. A refund would be nice of at least a couple days or something.”

“Howard Johnson goes back a long time. Always like the old world charm of the 50’s and 60’s styling. Only one small quirk was my shower knob did not work and it was broken. Fortunately it was stuck on a reasonable temperature to shower and used it as that. Breakfast was quite meager, very small lounge and limited food choices. But I assume it’s because of the limited space that had there. Overall it was alright and would go there again since my beach location in Clearwater was all but overbooked.……

“Morning breakfast was fantastic with the helpful, kind, and friendly staff. Phyllis was an absolute joy and made our experience spectacular. The reception staff was also very accommodating and welcoming allowing us to check out a little late without any difficulty. Amazing quiet gem in Tarpon!”

“I was unaware of the stairs to get to the rooms. I was given a room on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator to use to bring all of my luggage. The night before checkout, I called the front desk to ask if an Uber would be able to pick me up at 4:30 am and would be allowed onto the premises. I was told that I should have the pickup be the clubhouse and I could have a tram arranged to pick me up at 4:00 am. When I called at 4:00 am on the morning of checkout, I was told that the tram drivers……

“Front desk staff was awesome! The room was adequate, laundry facilities were much appreciated, breakfast buffet was sub par. We spent much of our evening watching numerous drug deals, lots of homeless stumbling in/out of the property looking for cigarette butts and many other interesting things. Our first, and most likely our last, trip to Port Richey”

“This cute hotel is fantastic. You could see the water from your room, there’s a restaurant that’s renowned for their seafood right there. There’s another one right across the street with life music. This is the best secret gem!!”

“Totally convenient to downtown Dunedin (and even more to Dunedin Brewery). Easy drive to Honeymoon State Park and Tarpon Springs. Gotta be careful of pricing, as they are not economical for extended stays. Convenient onsite parking in garage under hotel. Would be a bit tight for F-150 pickup though.....”
