"Have enjoyed coming here for 10 years, and no regrets, but noticing a troubling trend developing over the past few years of local residents (i.e. non-hotel guests) over-indulging at the pool bar and being belligerent, rude , and hostile to both staff and paid hotel guests. I understand the hotel is part of the community and should serve it as such, but perhaps a limit needs to be placed on how many drinks non-guests can order / better vigilance of cutting those off who've had one too many... When a "regular" is identified as "Drunkie Dillon", perhaps it's a sign that some policies need to be changed for the benefit of all."

"renovations were going on, something we should have been told before we booked. to get a quiet room we could only take the elevator to the 4th floor and then had to climb 10 stairs. there were not enough tables available for breakfast and the elevator was always full. would I stay there again? Probably not "

"No glasses for water. Dated "motel". It was ok, but not 8.4."

"Beautiful property with direct views of Clearwater Beach which is just across the street. Watched dolphins from our hotel balcony. Excellent for kids with several activities scheduled throughout the day for school aged kids to attend (held in the pool area). Pool was warm, hot tub is large and the hotel is within walking distance to food/shopping. 10-15 minute walk up the beach or up the street on the opposite side of the hotel to places like Frenchy's Rockaway and Crabby's. Watched the sunset into the ocean from Crabby's one night while listening to live music and enjoying dinner. 1 minute walk to the beach. 3 min walk to the pier. Food served at the pool bar is more reasonable than I expected for this location. Pricing was comparable to local restaurants so I didn't feel like I was being gouged by resort prices. Didn't dine at the nicer restaurant on site. Would definitely return! "
