Hotel was OK. Basic, nothing special but great location. They still have this outdated rule about no tattoos on the Onsen. Needs a revamp on the rules and the design (interior and exterior).

Great Onsen !

The hotel was an easy walk from the train station & had welcoming staff to assist with your check-in. Room was comfortable with nice bedding. My only compliant would be the hard pillows. The Onsen was the highlight of the property. Beautiful surroundings, clean & had both indoor & outdoor spaces. Highly recommend !

This place serves udon to its clients at 9:30pm as a get together and you can come in your hotel-provided pajamas (or not). Your choice. The breakfast is excellent, the onsen, the first one on our itinerary was quite nice, and right outside you have Matsumoto - which is now one of our favorite cities in Japan along with Kanazawa. You will see The Matsumoto Castle - but warning - you will need the onsen afternoons and late nights to recover from the castle's flights of stairs (bamboo ladders at a 55 degree angle) that no one warns you about. Until you are i a single file chain of surprised faces. Everything is close to this hotel. The shopping and food around it are excellent and varied - we had delicious Pasta Carbonara just across the street.

Room was clean and serviceable. View was of a parking garage so not ideal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel location was great, close to restaurants, shopping and transportation. Onsen was enjoyed and there were free evening noodles and ice cream at the onsen. Would recommend a stay.

頼んでいた宿泊証明書などチェックイン時の受付スタッフの声かけがありがたかったです。ほかにも気配りが行き届いていて、湯上がりサービス（ヤクルトやアイスなど）の徹底ぶりに驚きました。夜鳴きそばも美味しかったです。最上階温泉の朝風呂の清々しさは格別で、“虫さんや葉っぱはそっと…”というイラスト付きの掲示もユーモアと優しさがあり、通り一遍ではない気配りを感じました
