“From the minute we booked, Laura immediately answered questions and offered great advice for our first visit to St. Simon’s. She even let us know that we could check-in earlier! Her home-away-from-home was perfect for our family’s stay. The 3 bedrooms upstairs provide plenty of space and comfort. The bathrooms had every amenity you might need - especially the spa-like towels! We used the kitchen (already stocked to cook), the laundry room (with detergent & fabric softener), loved the reclining……

“We've been going to St Simons for years now but this was the first time ever going at Christmas and New Years time. Our only concern was not having it feel like Christmas for our boys. Let me just say that the host blew us away with the thought and effort that went into decorating both the inside and outside of the cottage. They even set up a Christmas tree inside so we were set for Christmas morning! And of course the heated pool was an everyday must. We will definitely be back, just not sure……

“The property checked a lot of boxes for the price, was well laid out and stocked, and the owner was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed cooking on the grill outside and the pools onsite were convenient and well liked by our kids. It is very convenient to both the beaches and the village, and if you brought bikes you could feasibly not drive while there.”

“Pool was great it was outside and a little chilly but the weather cooperated and they had a heated spa. House was beautiful and worked well for our needs very clean!! Neighborhood was quiet and calm. ”

“Love the location of this house and the neighborhood. The house was well stocked in the kitchen (could use an additional casserole dish or two) and in the bathrooms. Laundry on the upper level was great. Having the golf carts were a real plus for our family of eight...easy drive down to the Pier area. Huge learning curve on the Nest thermometers - instructions in the guest book would be helpful. Also, we were unable to figure out how to turn the gas grill on - again, instructions in the guest……

“Property was great for my family get together, with wife, three adult children and grandchildren. Great bunk room for grandchildren and 4 other very nice bedrooms with baths. Pool was a real hit with the 7 - 12 year olds.This place is well worth the money. It allowed my family to spend time together in one spot as they live in Arizona, NY and Iowa.”
