  • This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!

The staff was courteous and helpful when needed. However, the hotel is in dire need of a makeover. The room was way over priced. We were stranded at the Miami Airport and spent the prior night at the airport. Hotels were booked and we were desperate.

The hotel is dated and the hallways had strong odor of marijuana. The room was very basic, but clean. Staff was friendly and helpfull. This location is perfect for a quick overnight stay, but would not recommend for familes with children. Overall it was adequate for what I needed, which was a place for sleep for a few hours.

Had issues with the other hotel we booked and was thankfully able to get a room here last minute. Was able to check in early around 12. Room was as expected for a Red Roof Inn. Nothing spectacular but clean and AC worked well. Did have to pay almost $20 to park overnight so just beware of that if you plan to bring your own vehicle.

We arrived past 1 a.m. after a snowstorm st the departure location caused our flight to be canceled and rebooked at the last minute. The reception staff was waiting for us, and we were very grateful for their understanding and hospitality which we really appreciated after such a stressful travel day.

Some people might think different, but my reasons for good -value is: 1. You get nice big room 2. You get clean towels and sheets, no bugs 3. Soundproof is good, i hardly heard planes 4. Staff is wonderful 5. Coffeemaker and microwave in room Maybe it has some little smell or lacking paint from somewhere, but price is not bad either. Think about that.
