「Friendly staff, remodeled room」

「Super clean room, comfy bed, plenty of towels in the bath, lovely welcome basket, fantastic restaurant onsite, quiet and peaceful property. Also super friendly staff, excellent coffee shop, cafe, general store, and outdoor supply store onsite, and bikes available to ride the paved trail along the roadside. Hope to be back soon!」

The restaurant was delicious and had new things for us to try! The Lodge is nestled in the woods in Maryville, it was a great location that made you feel away when you were in the city.」

「This was a motorcycle trip from TX for me and a friend. From the Covered parking, on site food and drinks, and easy, quick access to the Tail of the Dragon and so much more. This is was a perfect place to stay. 」

「The home was great for conversations with several areas to explore and was decorated for the holidays! As some have mentioned, the driveway is steep, but not an issue with normal weather. There is a grocery store and several good restaurants within a 5 to 10 mile drive. The area was nice and quiet! 」

「There are so many good things about The Big Lodge that I will simply list the ones that stand out in my mind. Comfortable beds, good water pressure and plenty of hot water, beautiful decor, little extras everywhere that made our stay so nice. The host was great, he even took us on a tour of his farm. And of course his peacocks were a favorite of the kids. We’ve been renting cabins for over ten years and this is our favorite so far. Everyone in our family wants to return. Thanks!!!」
