The house is beautiful inside; clean, roomy, and perfect for our family size and gathering. We were celebrating my 70th birthday, and it could not have been a more memorable experience. The house and the location were great. kitchen was well equipped (although the old style replica stove was a little challenging for a Thanksgiving dinner - but we made it work). Small details such as spices and Tupperware and aluminum foil made for a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.”

“The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. “My wife and I loved being here. It was a fantastic location and we enjoyed sunsets and people, boat, and birdwatching. The beds were super comfortable and it was very restful to sleep with the windows open and hear the birds chirping. The description is a little over the top with the 'sprawling back yard' and 'two-level patio' and 'sandy beach' - the yard and outdoor space are fine, if a little worse for wear. The property's beach is rocks, which again is fine, and you can walk down the beach……

“This is a “lived-in” rustic log cabin and was perfect for our group of fishermen. Hanging out in the great room in the evenings was ideal. Just two suggestions -the can opener is missing a gear and the back up manual can opener is bent and bends too easily to function. We also look forward to evenings at the fire pit, but the lawn was uncut 1 to 2 feet tall -a mess and made using the fire pit and waterfront impossible.”

“We have rented this cottage in September 2023 to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday with friends. The Owner was very accessible, answered all my questions very fast before and while we were there. The place is beautiful, everything you need to cook is there, and the view from the kitchen and living room is amazing! The master bedroom is beautiful, private and has many windows so you can see the lake when you wake up in the morning. I will definitely go back!”

“Location on the lake is beautiful. Sort of far from st albans 15-30 mins drive and 30-35 to Burlington. We visited for a UVM graduation so went back and forth a lot. Overall house is large and spacious with some updated amenities like appliances. Master is beautiful but other rooms are tight. Road can be loud with cars at night. with some easy changes things would be more pleasant Upon arrival we immediately noticed that floors and windowsills were not swept and cleaned recently - which was……

“Our group ended up being fewer than planned but the property worked out great for our purposes! We were in the area for the University of Vermont graduation weekend and it was awesome to be able to book this property for just the 2 nights that we needed.
