“Everything was really clean. I love that it was 24hour check in. So it was very convenient. Staff were very friendly, helpful and patient. And I have a very busy busy 7 year old. Pool was nice. Everything was clean. Good breakfast choices”

“I had to wait to check in as staff were not at desk. When she arrived, she was helpful enough. The hallways were dark and a bit dingy. In the room, the shower gel was out and the carpet near the temperature control was wet. When I entered the room, there was a chemical smell. I was very surprised by the condition of the property since I expect Country Inn and Suites to be of higher quality - and the price was not cheap. Breakfast was OK. I would never recommend this place.”

“It was very clean and close to everything”

“Not the cleanest hotel. Staff were frustrated when I was checking in due to the elevators being down. I was checked in very quickly. Debit card was swiped for security deposit and then I was handed a key. No explanation to where my room was, what the room number is, or where anything was. Was told pool and elevators were down and no idea when they would be back up. Our room was not the cleanest, bathroom looked freshly used but our beds were made 😊. For $205 a night, I would of at least liked……

“We didn't have hot water in the bathroom and weren't able to actually stay. The staff didn't offer to moved us. Our door didn't close unless you pushed it.”

“The property itself could use a little upkeep but overall, the towels were clean not stained, sheets were clean, no hairs, beds were comfortable and tub was clean, again no hairs or soap scum. For the price and only a half hour south from Michigan adventures right off 96. Id call it budget friendly.”

“People should be aware when there are residents at hotels. This one appears to be a halfway house with a sign posted that there are no alcohol allowed on the property among other things that will get this posting taken down if I mention. Check how much this place gets to house the unhoused while you pay $160 a night. And are those residential smoke alarms? Ours was unhooked and placed in the drawer when we arrived.”

“The place is beautiful! Right on Lake Michigan with the best sunsets Iv ever seen. Although the pool was great and shuffleboard was cool the WiFi didn’t work at all and I couldnt get any service on my phone. Normally I wouldn’t complain but there also wasn’t a tv. So there was nothing for my ten year old son and I could do after dark. I don’t think anyone checked in on us to ask how our stay was going or if we needed anything. It made us feel a little out of place. The photos were wrong as well,……
