「Great slice of cabin in the woods humble abode. Clean and warm. You will need a car with AWD and snow tires if visiting in the winter. Beware though, there are monkeys in the woods and they come out in the warm late afternoon. While they're incredible to see, they're smart so keep your food close, snap some pictures and steer clear of them. 」

「The staff being "very helpful and nice" is often the most important factor for a great stay. A clean room is a baseline expectation, but having it be "big" is a wonderful bonus that adds to comfort. A "welcome drink & snake every night at the lobby" is a unique and generous touch. It shows the hotel goes the extra mile to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. 」

We skied right out the front door, convenient ski lockers in basement every night. Loved the beautiful onsen, with a view out to the mountain and snow, fully appointed with toiletries.
