“Pool was freezing, breakfast was sad. Staff was talking inappropriately about other staff members at the desk. Beds were very sad”

“The rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable. The hot tub felt like we were getting drowning in chemical fumes… the whole pool area honestly just felt stuffy. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast! About 15 minute walk to St.Ignace downtown which was great! All around, we are very pleased with our time.”

“This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟”

“Front desk employees were very friendly and helpful! Free hot breakfast had many choices. Property grounds were accommodating for relaxing outside by the lake front although we visited during the “midge fly season” and there was no way to avoid them but to stay inside.”

“Great location for shuttle pick up to Mackinac Island. Saved on parking at the dock. Breakfast was, so, so at best. Friendly gal keeping it all stocked up and tables wiped down. WIFI connection issues that were mostly cleared up. Can't say enough good things about Eleanore, the young lady who checked us in. There were a couple of minor issues, but she was right on it to make things right. She even went out of her way to help our friends with an issue they had with the Accessible Room. Five……
