Great Stay!

We only had one night but it was perfect for me, my granddaughter and her 3 kids. The two bedrooms with bathrooms was perfect for the adults and the kids slept on the sofa and sofa bed very comfortably. Would have liked a later checkout but overall we had a very pleasant stayl

Great location

Great location, convenient to Navarre beach, and two fun restaurants. Wonderful that it’s pet friendly- although we didn’t bring our dogs with us this time, we will definitely do so next time!

Great townhouse in a great location.

This property is located on the western side of Navarre Beach, not far from Beach access 37A. There is a small gulf view from the upper floor. The property has 2.5 bathrooms & 2 large bedrooms. It is slightly dated in certain areas, but it's well worth the price for rental.

Nothing fancy but perfect for us

I booked this the week before our stay. The price was very reasonable. Perfect layout for my family. Each bedroom having their own bathroom was awesome and a half bath for downstairs was great. Very clean. You couldn't tell dogs/cats have been there. Easy drive to public access beaches. We love that Navarre Beach is never too busy, beaches are quiet, great pontoon boat rental, & easy/quick drive to Pensacola Beach restaurants. We'd stay here again.

Perfect location

Next to national seashore. Very nice location. Dog friendly condo. Quiet area. Combination lock did not work but, management team was quick to respond. Black mold on vents in bathroom. Uncomfortable bed in master bedroom. Nice layout and fairly clean. With a new bed it is very nice.

Good location and proximity to beaches. Not very up to date with décor and the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Not worth what we paid for. did NOT even have cable on the TV's. not everyone wants to use Netflix or apps every time they watch tv. Cable should be included.. Found cockroaches throughout the property. Was not pleased with that! They need to get that addressed.

Dissatisfied

The oven did not work so our food had to be thrown away since we couldn’t cook it. Cleaning job was poor… dog hair all over the floor. Both shower heads had issues with water pressure. No cleaning products or spices available in the kitchen. No extra trash bags. Our trip from San Antonio to Navarre beach was only pleasant because of the beach. Sadly we were not able to enjoy the beach house due to all of the issues.

The smell!!!

We never even stayed one night! We came in and were instantly hit by the smell of dirty dog and pee. Not like a dog has been here, more like a dog peed on the couches and rugs. It’s embedded in the cloth so bad that it doesn’t matter if the place was clean or not the smell will never go away. To mention the cleanliness- it was not very clean either. The floors felt sticky and dirty. I would not recommend staying here even if you have a dog but especially if you do not. This was a complete waste of our money for a 4 night stay as we had to make other arrangements and the company that listed the property said it’s a pet friendly home so of course it’s going to smell. That was an understatement! I wish others would have been more honest in their reviews on the smell because I wouldn’t have stayed here but unfortunately I trusted the reviews. That’s why I’m writing a review so others know, yes this is a great location at a fair price but there is a trade off for cleanliness and dog pee smelling couches and rugs.

Not what was told

The process to rent was easy …the check in was great… but these are concerns we had through-out the week we were there: 1)Towel racks falling in bathroom 2)Ants in the house 3)Guest - Spider bite 4)Bikes not available even though shown as an amenity 5)2 glasses for entire house (These were restocked) 6)House advertised as dog friendly but note on refrigerator states dogs not allowed upstairs in bedrooms. 7)No cable tv 8)Needs rug in storage room between doors due to condensation issues. 9)2 small kitchen towels for house that can accommodate up to 6 people 10)Splinters from handrails in house 11)WiFi not working a portion of time and can not reboot modem as it is locked in cabinet 12)BBQ grill in storage room but no propane tank and BBQ grill on back patio w/ tank but back door does not unlock to have access to grill.

Close to ocean, sound and Opal Beach areas. There were tons of towels and washcloths. Kitchen implements, knives and pans were great. No cheese grater or zester, though. There were several problems. Since no one contacted me after I called the third time… here you go. Got early check in text but code didn’t work. They did call with a new code. The bikes are locked with signage that they’re not for guests. There aren’t beach chairs. You can call the service and they’ll set 2 for you (Condo sleeps 6, so?). (I called about these early in and did receive some reimbursement, but not enough to buy 4 beach chairs or rent bikes) The amount of “don’t do this” signage is ridiculous. There’s a sign that dogs are not allowed upstairs. There’s a sign to lock the door when you leave. There’s a sign about what temp to set AC at. The back yard is not fenced and is totally overgrown so you couldn’t take a dog out there anyway. I’m hoping it was left deliberately for the butterfly migration since most of the weeds were blooming. If you wanted to grill, it’s in the same overgrown area and the igniter doesn’t work, so you couldn’t anyway. There was one garbage bag in the kitchen (group of 4 on reservation) Not all of the remotes had batteries in them. Listing does say small beach cart. Small is right. Take your own dish soap, dishwasher tablets, hand soap, laundry detergent, paper towel, salt, pepper, etc. You have enough for one dishwasher load and one laundry load-and you’re expected to do those prior to departure. Our vacation was great overall, but there were just a hundred little things that were irritating. When you spent a couple thousand dollars, you just want it to be better.

Perfect location - beautiful beach

This house at Navarre Beach is in a wonderful location very close to the peaceful beach and sound of the National Seashore. The house was comfortable for the two of us but could have accommodated children or another couple very easily in the second bedroom. The kitchen is fun to cook and the open space with the dining and living allows everyone to be together - with the quiet spaces upstairs if needed. Loved having the bike to explore and so close to walk to the beach with a short drive to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again!

Our Stay at Sandy Paws

Very nice unit. Spacious and clean. Great location within walking distance of the beach and the beach chair service was awesome. Highly recommend Sandy Paws as a place to stay while visiting Navarre Beach. We will definitely book Sandy Paws next year when we come back.

Quaint little beach home!

Sandy Paws was a nice little beach home for our family of four and our beloved pup! The location was within a 5 minute walk to access a public beach. The home, itself, offered several amenities not usually found in a rental. The only complaint we had was the extra firmness of the mattresses.
