“Very communicative host — helped return my ring to me when I accidentally left it behind — huge help! The home is down the block from Tahoe Donner XC, incredible location. ”

“The lake is beautiful. The cabin was clean but the patio was not ready for use. There is only 1 bedroom (not 2) that sleeps 6-7. The one bathroom was a little challenging, but that's my fault for not reading more carefully. The owner was nice and communication was good. Overall, this place has potential and I know they will work on it since they just recently bought the place.”

“We were pleasantly surprised by the location as the house is very close to the back entrance of the state park. The cabin is basic and that it exactly what made it charming for us. Loved the enclosed garage to keep bikes and SUPs.”

“The property was perfect!! This was our first time in a cabin, and we were so happy everything was clean, and cleaning products were provided if we wanted to clean more. The place was right by the lake, and the kayaks/boating stuff were so accessible. It was so wonderful, we started planning for next year Friday night! :) ”

“We really appreciate the property management staff, who were very responsive whenever we called with an issue, which was 3 times, 3 days in a row. The biggest issue we had was the floor heater and it’s metal grate. My 21 mo old stepped on it and burned his foot. There’s nothing that blocked it off and the grate was very hot. There was a sign that cautioned heat, but it was not sufficient. I called staff and they were very responsive and brought over a new puppy gate to place over the grate and……

“Host was very welcoming and communicative, cabin itself was perfect and wonderful price. The toaster was faulty and started smoking anytime we tried to use it, and additionally the fireplace wouldn't sustain a fire for us, despite having special firestarter kindling (we struck out two nights in a row despite great effort so gave up on the third night ). The good news is the central heating worked great, the cabin was very cozy and the host was very responsive anytime I reached out to……
