Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel

"Rydges across from the Qantas terminal at the Sydney International Airport are wonderful. I had travelled from Las Vegas to Waikiki to Sydney that day and they were very welcoming. They kindly told me how easy it was to check in and drop off my luggage at the Qantas terminal at Sydney International Airport, go through security there and then catch a terminal transfer bus to the Qantas Domesitic terminal across from the tarmac. They had convenient room service available and a lovely clean room."

"Room clean and everything working though only basic amenities. Can't cast to TV and very limited apps installed. Fridge in room but no shop nearby. In house food options are inadequate, must eat at nearby competitor hotels . Too far to walk from the terminals witb luggage so must take the loathed shuttle - $15 each way and only runs every 40 minutes. No towels in gym and light is on a short push button timer - must interrupt exercise to keep turning it back on. Used express checkout; 34 hours later have not been emailed the invoice. Nothing major wrong here, but many minor negatives. Had a second booking here for my return but cancelled it to stay elsewhere."

"Checked in as a silver Expedia member, was meant to get a free bottle of wine under the membership - this wasn’t mentioned or offered. Was put in a room on level 2 which shakes and is extremely loud from the train line directly below. Did not get any sleep - the hotel hasn’t been updated since our last stay in 2021 & woke up to a gap in our roof"

"Suited me perfectly as I was attending a function at the Lyric Theatre which was walking distance from the Ibis. It is unfortunate that there is a large complex being built in front of the Ibis but it’s proximity to Darling Harbour, the Maritime Museum and the Casino and Lyric theatre makes it worth considering as a destination."

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney

"My husband and I stayed at this hotel near the end of a perfect month in Australia. We had stayed here for several days on the front end of our trip and could not have selected a better property for our final two nights in Sydney. This stay coincided with our 52nd anniversary and was perfect in every way. The front desk staff was excellent. We also want to thank Derek for giving us a warm welcome back and going the extra mile in every interaction and a manager (originally from Scotland whose name we failed to note) for offering us a late checkout when our return flight to the US was delayed by 10 hours. This hotel is perfectly located for so many Sydney restaurants and activities. Our last night coincided with the kickoff of 2026 Vivid Sydney, and the Four Seasons is positioned in the epicenter of the action. Over our years of traveling, we've stayed at Four Seasons properties off and on. We left Sydney Four Seasons with the thought, "Why would we stay at another hotel chain in the future?" Thank you Derek and the staff for not one but two amazing stays."
